Eyeing Medusa is my newest project starting with a series of encaustic paintings of admirable, sagacious women.

As time progresses Eyeing Medusa will also include: interactive sculpture installations; workshops; and online resources.

Medusa (blamed for being raped and ultimately beheaded) represents the ancient wild/wise woman. Confrontation with Medusa (viewable only via mirror) necessitates reflection.

Eyeing Medusa invites Viewers to reflect upon women: powerful wise individuals.
