Take Two

This video is an experiment — interweaving stories and images — to explore and demonstrate what I might do in a future art video project.

Next year, I plan to record the stories of the people of Kirkland Lake, in conjunction with the exhibition of Parallel Lines at the Museum of Northern History.

People have been telling me for years that I should document some of the amazing stories that have been (and continue to be) told to me in connection with exhibitions and performances of my work.

I've decided to take up the challenge. Video is an exciting medium. I have a lot to learn in this area and I'm really looking forward to doing so.

I really look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Please remember: this is just a quick sketch, it's not polished whatsoever, but I hope it gets you thinking . . .
