Ethiopian Jazz Events

Building bridges between cultural communities, Amanta Scott plays Ethiopian Jazz and collaborates with musicians Girma Woldemichael, Andegarchew Mesfin, Fantahun Shewankochew and Daniel Barnes — for charitable fundraising events including the People-to-People Gala to benefit Aids Orphans in Ethiopia and the Toronto Addis Ababa Academic Collaboration for Psychiatric Rehabilitation to send doctors and psychiatrists to Ethiopia.

Amanta, Girma and Andegarchew can also sometimes be heard playing at Hirut Restaurant Cafe, 2050 Danforth Ave.
